Hi
I have an i4 which has a drivetrain fault due to accident damage (Now fully repaired) the car won't run due to pyrofuse issues within the SME unit located inside the high Voltage Battery. BMW dealership in Doncaster say they won't repair the vehicle as it's a Cat N - (why that matters as I'm paying for the work I don't know !!)

Anyway I am asking does anyone know of an independent BMW specialist within the UK with the required equipment to carry out the repair work. They will need access to an end of service tool (IMIB HV) to test the integrity of the battery unit following repair work.

Also if there are any BMW techs on here. are the pyrofuses situated within the SME control unit or externally but inside the HV Battery. I believe there are 2.

Might be worth giving Cleevely Motors a call. They’re very knowledgable. If they can’t help you they may know someone who can.
