I was travelling at about 20 mph when the car an i4M50 performed an uncommanded emergency brake. The braking was severe and caused the harness to tighten. Luckily no-one was behind me so in this case a collision was avoided.
However, had this happened on a motorway for, example, the consequences could be disastrous.
There were several potholes in the road but not very deep when it happened. No other cars were near me, no cyclists and no pedestrians. Time of the incident was about 7am. Weather conditions were clear, no rain. Visibility was very good.
Possibly the sensors need to be adjusted. How does one do that?
