i4 M sport Bike rack

Hi,

My name is Rob, I am new to the forum, looking for some advice/experience.

I regularly cycle and sometimes need to travel a bit further to meet with friends for a ride.

With my current 530d I use a Thule Raceway rear mounted cycle rack, it is both strong and easy to fit/remove and is still in good condition and is very adaptable for both booted and hatchback cars.

I am unable to find whether it will fit the i40 or find a suitable replacement, has anyone else? I should have thought about it when I had my test drive and tried to see if it fitted, so will probably now have to wait until it's delivered!

Would really prefer not to get a roof rack, so if a rear rack is not possible, has anyone been able to fold down the seats and get their bike in without dismantling it?

Hopefully there is someone out there that has already tried to carry their bike

Car arrived yesterday what a beauty!
Sunset orange is gorgeous.
I tried my bike rack today and it fits, but I think I am going to fit a rubber edging on the top of the window. I feel its too much of a risk to use it when weighted by the bike and hit a bump in the road.

Now to get to grips with all the tech!
