Market launch gets underway in November 2021 with two model variants: BMW i4 M50 (electric power consumption combined: 24 – 19 kWh/100 km [62 miles] in the WLTP cycle; CO2 emissions of 0 g/km) – the first purely electric performance car from BMW M GmbH, with 400 kW/544 hp, all-wheel drive and a range of up to 510 kilometres (317 miles) in the WLTP cycle;

BMW i4 eDrive40 (electric power consumption combined: 20 – 16 kWh/100 km [62 miles] in the WLTP cycle; CO2 emissions von 0 g/km) with 250 kW/340 hp, classical rear-wheel drive and a range of up to 590 kilometres (367 miles) in the WLTP cycle.

Hoping for an 11/21 -> 01/22 delivery... fingers crossed.

Welcome along! Literally just in the process of setting everything up so I’ll be adding more content over the next week or two.

When did you place your order?

Deposit 21st Aug, final details and order placed 27th Aug - not confirmed date back from BMW yet though, so I'm guessing they are in pre-order mode still. Target date Jan 2022.

I have preordered my bmw i4, paid deposit and signed paper work but currently no order number or confirmation just an estimated delivery date of 1st of March. Anyone else had the same? Placed my order on the 8th of September.

Placed my order in June, ETA is end of December but not sure if I trust that!

Hi all. Placed my order via my company car scheme late last week. Confirmed today that target delivery date is 22nd March 2022.

Had an hour long chat with the head of sales at my dealer - in short he said none of them know how many cars they will be allocated until the end of October. The allocation will be quarterly. If they have 10 cars "on order" (deposit paid but BMW have not confirmed order yet) but only get an allocation of 3, then 7 will wait until the following quarterly allocation. So, target dates are just that, targets - guesses. We should know more as start to see allocation numbers at the end of Oct.

My local BMW dealer just told me their i4 demo has just gone back from a November delivery to early January 22 delivery.

Still told no build allocations issued and my car delivery date moved back from early March to Mid April.

My car was ordered mid September.
